There are several benefits of participating in after school programs. The primary benefit is to keep children out of trouble and off the streets. The period directly after school is the most crucial time of the
day. When unsupervised, kids are given the opportunity to get into trouble. After school programs prevent exposure to problematic behavior by keeping kids in a safe, supervised environment.
The second benefit is helping students improve upon the lessons they learn during school hours. Academic based programs give children the chance to practice and build on what they learn in school. They provide many new enriching ways for children to learn, which makes it fun and enjoyable.
The third benefit of after-school programs is the exercise kids get when they partake in recreational programs. These programs let children use their energy, relieve stress, and reduce the possibility of childhood obesity. In addition to exercise, recreational activities can also provide culture to a child’s life.

What is the minimum age for the BGC in Hillside? Is it available for pre-K4 at the school (AP Morris, Hillside) or at another location?
Currently, we only serve grades K-8th grade in Hillside. We do not have a program for pre-K4 at this time.
I don’t see the registration form for the After-School Program for A P Morris-ECC.
