Dear Friends of the Boys & Girls Club:

Giving the gift of membership to a child for one of our Clubs provides peace of mind and security. Your gift of membership can offer so much to struggling single parents, or grandparents raising children. Your gift can offer a safe place with adult supervision to a child who would otherwise go home alone after school or be out on the streets.  Thousands of youth each year stay out of trouble and develop positive character and leadership skills through Boys & Girls Clubs programs.
Each year, because of generous donors, many kids are able to spend their after-school hours at one of our clubhouses or teen centers in Union, Elizabeth, Plainfield, Roselle and Hillside. They learn new skills and social competencies, express their feelings and creativity through the arts, play sports and most importantly, have fun in a safe and secure place.

It is easier than ever to donate.  You can invest $25, $50, $100, or any amount to fit any budget. On this website, simply click on the “Donate” tab and then click on “Sponsor a Child”  for an easy tax-deductible donation.

Our clubs will never turn away any child because of their inability to pay. Our impact is too strong to deprive them of such an  experience. Which is why in this season of thanks and giving we ask our friends and neighbors to help in  supporting this positive place where our kids can grow and flourish.

Without financial support there would be no Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County. We impact youth  everyday by providing them with the gift of time, compassion, and generosity along with the message that they have the power to create a good life for themselves and a better community for all of us.

As Chief Executive Officer of this organization for over 30 years, I have learned that the world our children face is more difficult, services are more expensive, alternatives for our youth often have many more harmful outcomes, but, with your help, and with our shared knowledge that one person can make a positive difference in the life of a child, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County will continue to build upon the foundation we began in 1955 when we signed our first member.

Happy Holidays and may the new year ahead be a happy and healthy one!

Sincerely,

Russell Triolo
Chief Executive Officer
